Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We split the day between my mom's and jeremy's dad's. The boys had lots of fun with their cousin Mallory. I can't believe that this time last year James pretty much slept through Thanksgiving and this year he and Mallory were running around and this time next year John-Mark will be running around too! I am so thankful for my wonderful family and can't imagine my life without a single one of them! While we have so enjoyed every minute of our new sweet baby boy John-Mark we jokingly said that we don't plan on bringing a newborn to Thanksgiving three years in a row!! It was this time last year that I found out I was expecting him, and while we were quite surprised, I can't imaging it any other way now!
Blessings to all of you!!

Mallory & James on the swing - Mallory is such a big girl - she was helping us get a good shot of James!

James was pretty pooped after having only a short nap in the car - he must have been to be laying in this wagon! You know he won't sit in our lap for more than 30 seconds!
Blessings to all of you!!

Burrrrr...
The last week it has gotten pretty cold around here. I am constantly fighting with James to keep his socks or slippers on his feet since most of our house is hard woods and your tootsies can get pretty cold. I've had to make sure the boys are bundled up nice and warm when we go outside which has made for some pretty cute pics!
This past week we had a friend come over and take some pictures of John-Mark for his 3 month pics and also tried to get some family shots for a Christmas card which was not easy but I think we got a couple that will do :) John-Mark continues to have this cold stare when he sees the camera. It seems the only way we can get a good pic of him smiling is when he's looking at one of us and the other is holding the camera so we don't have very many of him giving a big grinner for the camera!
In the past couple of weeks James has now become obsessed with saying "BA" for ball. I think he says it 500 times a day! From the moment he wakes up he points to his baseball piggy bank and says "BA" and continues until he goes to bed. Anything remotely round is a ball - rocks, tangerines, etc. I'm thinking maybe he wants to perfect each word of the english language before he moves on to another one. I can't wait to see what he fixes on next! Here are some fun pictures from the week -
My sweet boys - James kissing is baby brother :)
One of the many attempts to get a family pic - I'm trying to get a good smile out of James by tickling him but this was a bit too much-

Happy 3 months and 15 months!!
Today John-Mark is 3 months old! Once again time is flying! He has become such a happy and peaceful baby who loves to smile and laugh all the time. He really loves to watch his big brother. Yesterday I was holding John-Mark and James was whining wanting to get in the chair with us and it just cracked John-Mark up, which made me laugh, and then James started laughing. Just the beginning of many fun times to come with these boys I'm sure!
James continues to amaze me everyday with what he is understanding. He is still talking in his little Hawaiin dialect but he understands everything we say. He loves to play with all of his baseballs and basketballs; he loves to brush his hair and ours; He has become obsessed with his nose and likes to stick his finger in it all the time! I'm trying to teach him but I don't want to make so much of a deal out of it that he really wants to do it all the time! He also loves to be outside so he can just wander all around and pick up leaves and rocks and anything else he can find. In the last several weeks James has also been teething like crazy!! On his first birthday he had 7 teeth. In the last couple of months he has added 6 more and continues to have swollen and red gums meaning more are on the way. And he continues to amaze us with how much and what all he will eat! He will eat ANYTHING!! We honestly have not found anything that he won't eat; and if you're eating, watch out - he's on you like a fly! He also cries when all the food is gone! We went to a birthday party last week and on the way home Jeremy said he bet james would be sick because he ate so much food - he walked around the party the whole time to anyone who had a plate and they all thought he must be starving so everyone gave him food!
James and Charlie looking out the window - James always puts his thumb in his mouth and tries to lay on Charlie because he's soft like his blanket!
Our little dare devil - he no longer wants to ride on this but stand on it! He looks like he's surfing!
I bought James these moccasin slippers yesterday because he rufuses to keep socks on! So far he hasn't taken these off!

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too!!!
Last night we took the boys to the Goodson's since their neighborhood does a little festival for the kids. James' buddy Cooper was a little crab - soo cute! There were no tricks or treats for these two - just a night of strolling around in Cooper's little red wagon and showing off how cute they are! John-Mark enjoyed a nice nap during our walk. We had a great time and the boys must of been pooped because they both slept until almost 8 am this morning!

Life is Good
My heart is overwhelmed with how much I love my family! I am sooo blessed to have my two sweet boys and my wonderful husband (who works really hard so that I can stay home and be with them every day!) I can honestly say that maybe for the first time in my life I feel like I am right where God wants me to be. I have never felt as fullfilled as I do now. Even though my days are filled with diapers, spit up, and naps I love every minute of it!
As most of you know the first several weeks of John-Mark's life was pretty difficult for me; I am glad to say it is already becoming a distant haze to me. I'm glad we've gotten over that newborn hump and we can just all enjoy each other! John-Mark is growing like a weed. Sometimes it really seems like he's changed over night. He loves to coo and smile all the time. He's even started to giggle (mostly at his daddy:)) James continues to be my sweet boy and a great big brother. Whenever I am burping John-Mark he likes to come over and "help" and pat him on the back as well. He gives him kisses all the time and thinks it's so funny! I pray these boys grow up to love each other as much as we do and be best friends! Here's some pics from our week:
